Adding Content

The Internet is a big place... TOO big in some respects, like when you're looking for specific content and don't have all day to peruse two thousand web pages that may have been written by an expert or a 13 year old know-it-all. That's one of the reasons sites catering to a specific crowd, like this one, are important. Of course to actually become important, it has to have relevant content, and that's where you come in. Two heads are better than one, and content from more than one member is definitely better than content from a single person.

On this site you can submit articles, links to web sites, pictures, and various types of files from text files to computer programs. You should be able to submit video files as well, but I'm still getting used to the software and third party mods in use here, so I'll try to document my findings.

As for submitting any of the types of content mentioned above, the procedure is generally the same. To submit an article, click on the Articles tab on the main menu, and then select the category you want put the article in. Click the 'Add Article' link at the bottom of the category listing to bring up the input screen where you provide a title and compose the article or paste in previously created content. Submitted content may require moderator or administrator approval before it is published.
