Personal Messages

Registered users (members) can send and receive private messages on this site and receive notifications of new messages by email, without sharing their email address with other members. While the site layout may change (currently using all 'off the shelf' 3rd party modifications), currently there are two ways to send private messages.

The first way to send a personal message is by clicking on a member's profile and then clicking 'Send PM' on the left side of their profile screen.

You can also send a personal message to one or more members by clicking the 'My Messages' tab at the top of the screen, and then clicking 'New' at the top right of the dropdown box. As you start typing in the To: box, a list of matching user names will appear. Clicking on one of the names adds it to the recipient list and clears the To: field so you can add more names.

You can control the behavior of message notifications and other options from your profile, accessed by clicking on your username at the top left of the screen.
