Arguably the most important part of an interactive web site such as this one is a discussion forum. As you probably already know, making a forum post is like sending an email, except that instead of sending it to one person or a specific group of people, your post is visible to anyone who can read the section of the forum you posted it to. Unlike talking on a radio, where the only people who can hear you are those listening to your frequency at the exact moment you're talking, posting to the forum preserves your "voice" so that people can respond to it later, and each post forms part of a permanent discussion.

Simply put, there are two types of forum posts: Topics and replies. Starting a new topic is like starting an email chain with a new subject, and creates a dialog around that topic that others reply to. There is also an option to create or add polls to forum posts, which you can use to get other members to share their opinions.

When you create new topics in the forum or find a topic of interest, you can set up notifications to let you know whenever a new reply has been added. You can also monitor or ignore individual forum boards, topics, or categories to keep abreast of your interests without needing to keep checking the site for updates.

If you have any questions or suggestions about the forum, or would like to see specific categories or boards added, please let the administrator know! Also, assuming that people outside of the Arbuckle 97 net community will register on this site, it will probably become necessary to moderate the forum posts to prevent spam and abuse, so please consider volunteering.

Of all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most.
